EXAM RULES
While Writing
- No communicating (whispering, notes, sign language).
- No borrowing of ANYTHING during an exam.
- No taking out of notes or books.
- No entry after 30 minutes
- No bathroom breaks.
- Nothing on desk other than writing supplies. Water bottle is allowed.
- All your possessions to be placed at front/side/back of the room or outside the class.
- No cell phones or electronic devices.
- No sharing of calculators and stationery
- Possession or use of information or materials not authorized by the teacher is cheating.
- No eating.
- Stay in your seat at all times. Candidates shall remain seated at their desks until all the papers are handed in.
- It is your responsibility not to appear to be cheating.
When you have finished
- You may NOT take out any paper or book of any kind – unless given to you by the examiner.
- ALL previous rules still apply – no communicating, no borrowing etc.
- Give everyone a chance to do their best in a quiet environment.
- Read through your paper again.
- Lie on your arms.
Consequences
- Talking during an exam = leads to 15 minutes ‘suspension’ of writing time. If behaviour continues, HOD’s.
- Learners to sign on paper.
- Parents to be informed.
